White villages, olive groves & backroads
Ride between dry-stone walls, centuries-old olive trees, trulli, Masserie and some of the region’s best-known hill towns.
The confirmed loop starts in Ostuni and runs via Cisternino, Locorotondo, Martina Franca, Alberobello and Ceglie Messapica before returning to Ostuni. The exact backroad geometry, GPX, access notes and riding times are now the parts being road-tested.
Exact distances, timings, access notes and practical stops will be published only after the route is fully road-tested and verified.

The town sequence is fixed. The precise backroad line, GPX geometry, distances and riding times are being finalised through road testing.
Cisternino
First village stop — a natural pause before continuing deeper into the valley.
Locorotondo
Continue through trulli country to one of the valley’s signature white hill towns.
Martina Franca
Reach Martina Franca before bending back toward the trulli landscape.
Alberobello
Pass through the best-known trulli town and begin the return side of the loop.
Ceglie Messapica
Final intermediate stop — turn back toward Ostuni through the inland countryside.
Ostuni
Finish — return to Ostuni and close the Valle d’Itria loop.
